Astro-Notes on July 8, 2014 – moving forward with care

Venus in Gemini’s square to retrograde Chiron in Pisces together with

<the Sun in Cancer’s square to Uranus in Aries on which he follows up with a trine to retrograde Saturn in Scorpio, still in sextile aspect with Pallas in Virgo, keep us on our toes, while tuning up the pressure and accelerating the pace. However, if we use our time effectively instead of wasting it complaining about things we’re unhappy about and remove the obstacles in our way, we can turn a corner, see things through to the end and accomplish what we set out to do. We just have to go with the flow and not resisting it, because we want things our way. Juno in Gemini’s quincunx to retrograde Pluto in Capricorn shows an adjustment in relationship dynamics, which helps us to get over ourselves and regain control over our affairs.

Tarot card of the day is The Chariot”, suggesting that we take control and move forward with care. There is a need to remain focused and to keep the emotions in check. We need to harness our energy and apply it wisely. Self-discipline is important to be able to balance the light and shadow aspects of our personality.

Reflections on April 26th, 2010 – the world beyond our own

In addition to the much talked about Saturn-Uranus opposition, the last one in mutable signs, did Juno in Gemini cast a quincunx to Pluto Rx in Capricorn. Thus, we could have felt the pressure to move on with a project and looked into alternatives in order to make some progress in the near future, while we may have succumbed to the fact that we’re dealing with forces beyond our control and therefore had to sit still, patiently awaiting the ‘turning of the tides’.

Violent storms did at least kill 12 people in the U.S. where ferocious tornadoes hit 3 states. – These forces beyond our control had people ‘sitting out’ the dangerous weather.

A homeless good Samaritan was left to die on a sidewalk with people walking by and doing nothing after he had intervened in a fight to help a woman. – The shame of these people is memorized forever on a videocamera. In this case, the dual nature of the sign Gemini is once more revealed as one man makes a difference (Saturn-Uranus) to save this woman, while others (Juno in Gemini) walk by and let him die (quincunx to Pluto Rx). It provides furthermore insight into our individual natures (Uranus) and the things we stand for or position we take (Saturn).

Tarot card of the day was “The World“, which fell out of the deck in a position I can only describe as “half reversed”. So, this would imply that the end of a cycle has been reached, but might be delayed. There might be a sense of hesitancy or avoidance regarding the conclusion. However, change is inevitable.

We’ve been sitting on our deck yesterday afternoon – me wanting to start a knitting project and J wanting to complete the basement. But since his tax assessment (Pluto) hasn’t been completed yet, he’s been hesitant to move forward. Whereas I didn’t understand the instruction of the pattern and then I couldn’t find the end of the thread and thus had to roll the yarn up starting with the other end, which left me with a complete mess I have to untangle.(: From the doctor we didn’t hear either.
